Detox tea

my favorite tonic tea. The hibiscus has iron and magnesium, so definitely a boost to you while you're detoxing. Green tea is detoxing on its own, and ginger will help get the most out of your system while helping with the headaches.

Grate fresh ginger root into a pot. Place a tablespoon or so organic into the pot; halve a lemon and squeeze the juice over the mix, dropping the peel over it all. (Note: rinse the lemon in advance to clean the rind.) Add a ball of green tea leaves or a few bags of green tea. Cover with boiling water and steep at least five minutes. Strain and drink. If honey is approved for you, this is an excellent addition. Detoxing and energizing. If you can get local honey, all to the good, since it helps with immunity.
